JoNae earned her BFA in Acting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. While studying at the University, the BFA degree program encompassed a rigorous concentration in theatre study to a limited number, audition-based class, of highly motivated and talented students in which she graduated with honors, magna cum laude, and received numerous theatrical performance awards. University and private training is listed below.
Since graduating, JoNae lived in Los Angeles, California where she acted professsionally and continued her training.
Before attending MSU, Mankato, JoNae attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities followed by Le Sorbonne and The American University of Paris where she studied French language, culture, theatre, opera, and music.
JoNae is currently studying with the Sandbox Theatre as their LAB Scholarship recipient which inclues a 16-week workshop series concluding with a Master Class with the SITI Company from NYC. JoNae is currently studying voice with Melissa Hart and Kenny Kiser. JoNae is also a trained pianist and saxophonist in private study for over 10 years in addition to, basic guitar. |
